All courses will be registered with BASIS to receive CPD Points.

The FACTs qualification has been embedded in the industry since 1992.
The course requires 5-6 days of face to face training, supported by additional independent study.
The FACTs exam includes 3 separate elements; 60 multiple choice questions, a scenario paper and a Viva.
As an entry requirement, BASIS advises that at candidates have at least 2 years of experience in on the ground agronomy.
FACTs is a stand-alone qualification, but when combined with other relevant BASIS courses can be combined to form the BASIS Diploma in Agronomy.

As management of our natural resources has become more prominent in day to day agricultural consultancy, a greater understanding of how we can protect our soil and water is vital.
The Soil and Water Qualification is ideal for farmers, land managers and advisors alike.
The course requires 5-6 days of face to face training, supported by additional independent study.
The exam contains 4 separate elements; 20 multiple choice questions, a written farm management scenario, a Viva with the BASIS Exam Chair and a Viva with a Soils Specialist.

Designed for anyone involved in the management and application of non-farm organic materials to land for agricultural benefit.
The Waste to Land exam consists of a paper with 10 questions, of which candidates are expected to answer 6 questions. This is followed by a Viva.
BASIS Waste to Land is a stand-alone qualification, but when combined with other relevant BASIS courses can be combined to form the BASIS Diploma in Agronomy

As a FACTs Qualified Advisor, you are required to sit an annual assessment to maintain your CPD and retain your FQA Status.
The scheme year runs from 1st June to 31st May each year.
The theme for the year running to 31st May 2026 for the FACTs Agriculture theme is: " Nutrient balances: their calculation and use in nutrient management."
Our online refresher will run through the main elements of the topic, and provide an update in advance of sitting the annual assessment.
Method: Online (Teams) - 2hrs

The FACTs syllabus is wide reaching and covers a number of different themes in significant detail.
If you are thinking of taking FACTs and want to improve your knowledge in certain subjects, or are booked in to take a FACTs course and want to do some pre-course prep, these Pre-FACTs sessions are designed to focus in on a specific area of the syllabus and provide a foundation to your knowledge which the main course can then develop further.
Method: All of our Pre-FACTs open courses will be delivered online via Teams, and will last for 3hrs.
